Douglas Reeves @douglasreeves mentioned that when we approach professional learning we should focus on “action outcomes.” As you finish chapters in the next book you read, jot down action outcomes that you might like to accomplish with your students, teachers, or families. What a simple and positive thing to do!

Here are the books we will spotlight during the fall and winter of 2020/2021.

Fall Winter 2020 books

Each book has a two week focus. The first week we have a guest moderator who designs the questions and guides the discussion. The second week, Meredith Johnson is usually the moderator and the author of the book often joins us. There are times when the author’s schedule might work better to attend the first week or is planning on coming to both chats. Click here for more details about this bookcamppd.com/calendar-of-events/.

You can sign up to be a guest moderator here – scroll down to locate the form – bookcamppd.com/guest-moderators/. We’re also so fortunate to have artists in our midst who craft lovely sketch notes of our chats. If you’re interested in volunteering to create one, here’s the link to the form – bookcamppd.com/sketch-note-sign-up/

If you happen to miss a chat, there is a @Wakelet created of each one – bookcamppd.com/amazing-tweets/ and you can also see all of the sketch note by visiting this web page – bookcamppd.com/sketch-notes-from-chats/

We hope to see you in our Sunday chats at 7:30 PM ET/6:30 CT/5:30 MT/4:30 PT
